Accident Analysis & Prevention is a peer-reviewed academic journal covering accident prevention published bi-monthly in six volumes per year. It is an official journal of the Association for the Advancement of Automotive Medicine.
The journal is ranked as A* (Best in its field, other rankings are A,B,C or unranked) by the Australian Research Council 2010 Ranked Journal List in three fields of research:[1]
- Public Health and Health Services
- Transportation and Freight Services
- Psychology
The journal was first founded by Frank Haight[2], an emeritus professor from the University of California, Irvine, who died in 2006.
