Social Processes: Methodology · Types of test
In psychometrics an absurdity test is any test which a subject has to identify elements in a verbal orpictorial stimulus which are wrong or illogical[1].
So for example they must identify that a numeral is missing from a clockface or that people in a modern car are dressed in old fashioned clothes.
Such questions are sometimes included in intelligence tests.
