The Association of Heads of Psychology Departments (AHPD) is a forum for Heads of psychology in British university departments in UK Higher Education Institutions.

It fosters discussion on relevent issues and helps coordinate and initiate action on issues of common interest, particularly where these affecting teaching, research and management.

The aim of the association is to support Heads in their leadership roles, to enhance the standing of the discipline of psychology.
