The 5-Choice Serial Reaction Time Task (5-CSRTT) is a method of measuring the visual processes in rats.[1][2] It has also been used to measure impulsivity in rats, and shows a differential response with atomoxetine compared to stimulants.[3] The 5-CSRTT uses a 9-hole apparatus that gives the rat a brief 0.5 second visual stimulus, measuring the time and accuracy of the rat's reactions, and categorizing the types of errors made by the rat.[4]
